Asphalt Paving marketing & lead generation

Asphalt paving marketing that keeps your crews on booked jobs all season.

We build the paving lead generation engine that turns your market into a steady flow of booked driveways, parking lots, sealcoating, and striping, run it for you, and hand you the keys. No more renting shared leads resold to four pavers, no more waiting on a GC to fill the schedule.

Your season is short. The pavers who fill it booked it months ago.

The plant shuts down for months, the binder price rides crude, and a crew with a leftover load poisons the neighborhood before you ever bid it. Asphalt paving marketing is how you stop bidding into that and start filling a short season with work you priced.

We build the engine that books driveways, lots, sealcoat, and striping, run it for you, and put it in your name. No shared leads, no waiting on a GC to hand you a schedule. It is yours, and it is still running when the next season opens.

Founder, Contractor Fast Lane

In 2015 I started Four28 Marketing with one goal: give local businesses an unfair advantage in their market.

Eleven years and 250+ businesses later, one pattern kept jumping out. Home services was the one place I could run the same playbook and watch it actually work. Not a slide in a quarterly review, real jobs on a real calendar. I’d rather move the needle for a small business than a Fortune 500 any day.

So we took everything we had built over a decade and pointed all of it at one thing.

Why paving contractors stay stuck

Best crew in town, emptiest board in May.

Every one of these is fixable, and none of them get fixed by laying better asphalt. They get fixed upstream, where the work comes from.

A short season to make a full year

The paving window opens late, closes early, and loses weeks to rain in between. Miss the spring booking rush and the whole year runs behind with no way to catch up before the cold shuts you down.

Shared paving leads resold to four crews

You pay $30 to $100 for a driveway lead, then find out four other pavers bought the same job. You win maybe one in five and eat the estimating and travel on the rest.

The three-bid price war

On a $12K driveway, every homeowner collects three bids and the cheapest guy sets the price. Without the brand and reviews to justify your number, you lose the job or the margin.

A pipeline that belongs to your GCs

When your commercial lots run through two or three general contractors, you inherit their delays and their pricing. One lost GC relationship and half a season disappears from the board.

An asphalt paving contractor on a freshly paved commercial parking lot
The paver we build this for

For the paver who is past chasing work.

You own the paver, the rollers, and the trucks. You are past bidding against a guy with a rented box and a pickup. The gap now is a season spoken for before it opens, commercial work that skips the GC, and a machine in your own name.

“I've worked with plenty of agencies that promise the world and deliver a folder full of vanity metrics. Contractor Fast Lane is different. They feel like an extension of our team and take the time to understand our industry instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all template. Since partnering with them we have seen a significant increase in qualified leads and a real boost in ROI, and our cost per acquisition has dropped.”

I was with a different company for TWELVE years whom I trusted, only to find out he had not been performing yet was charging us anyway. We didn't have our log-ins, never got reports, and had no idea what we were missing.. until my wife found these guys. Daniel and the team have made my business shine. They are a God send.

My husband and I run a local business, and when it came time to grow we knew we needed experts. Contractor Fast Lane came highly recommended from a friend who raved about them. They are crazy good at taking complicated, nerdy stuff and making it make sense, and they were always communicating so I never once wondered what was going on. Their SEO work for our market has been a game changer, and we have seen a tangible increase in our lead volume.

It was clear they had done extensive research on our industry before we ever sat down. We spoke to other agencies, but there was a distinct difference. What really stood out was their proven track record getting clients top rankings on Google. We needed a site built the right way, optimized and built to convert, and that is exactly what they delivered. Honestly, it has been one of the best investments we have made for our business.

The paving lead trap

Stop renting paving leads.
Own the system that makes them.

Buying paving leads is renting, and rented leads stop the day you stop paying. Owning your asphalt paving lead generation is an asset that compounds and stays yours through every season.

Renting leads

Pay forever. Own nothing.

You pay full freight for every driveway you win, and the pipeline empties overnight the day you stop.

Owning the engine

Build once. Compound for years.

Your cost per booked job falls as the asset compounds, and the website itself is fully yours at month 6.

Your asphalt paving growth engine

Four systems.
One paving engine.

Most paving marketing leans on one channel and hopes. We connect four so they feed each other, and feed your crews a steady flow of booked jobs instead of three-bid standoffs.

Where paving money is won and lost

Asphalt runs on a clock no other trade runs on. So does your engine.

Three things decide a paving year: a window that closes on you, a material price that will not hold still, and a property owner already burned by somebody with a paver and a story. Your engine gets built around those three.

1Booked before the plant reopens

You cannot buy hot mix in February, but you can sell it. We run your search presence, ads, and follow-up straight through the cold months, so when the plant fires back up you are already the company property owners have been finding.

2Estimates that outrun the binder price

Crude moves, the plant's per-ton price follows, and a bid sitting in a drawer for six weeks is priced off last month's asphalt. The engine texts back the second a request lands and books the estimate, before your own number goes stale.

3Daylight between you and the leftover load

Attorneys general warn homeowners about transient crews with extra asphalt from a job down the road, and the suspicion sticks to everyone. A long review history, the Google Verified badge, and a gallery of your own mats clears it.

4Two buyers, two different calendars

A homeowner decides in April with three bids on the counter. A property manager decides from a capital budget written last fall. We keep residential and commercial as separate lanes, separate pages, separate intake, separate follow-up.

5Sealcoating that carries the off-months

Driveways want sealcoat every two to three years, busy lots every one to two. Every job you finish is a maintenance customer with a date on it. The CRM holds that list and works it, so crack filling and striping fill weeks paving cannot.

6The website is yours at month six

Rented leads end the day the invoice does. Your ad accounts, ranked pages, reviews, and customer list are in your name from day one, and the website is fully yours at month 6. What you paid for last season still works in the next one.

One market. One paving contractor.

Territories lock when a paver starts, and we only run one per service area. A 15-minute call covers your area, your mix of work, and whether yours is still free.

What's inside your system

One engine for driveways, lots, and sealcoat. All of it in your name.

No more juggling five vendors who do not talk to each other. Every piece of your asphalt paving lead generation is built, connected, and run under one roof.

Paving SEO & Google Maps

We get your paving company ranking for the searches that matter, asphalt paving near me, driveway paving, and parking lot paving across your service area, plus the Google map pack where the calls come from.

Google Local Services Ads

The Google Verified badge that puts your company at the very top of the results, pay-per-lead placement in front of the property owner whose driveway is crumbling and who wants it paved this season.

Paving PPC & paid social

Paving Google Ads and Facebook and Instagram campaigns tuned to season open, driveway and parking lot intent, and sealcoating upsells, with your finished blacktop doing the selling in the feed.

A paving website built to convert

A fast, mobile-first paving website engineered to turn visitors into booked estimates, with project galleries, commercial and residential work split out, financing options, and quote requests that capture the job while your crew is still on the paver.

Review & reputation engine

Automated review requests that build a wall of five-star Google reviews, the proof a property owner needs before handing anyone a $12K driveway, and the edge that wins three-bid standoffs.

Speed-to-lead & CRM follow-up

Every paving lead gets an instant text and a spot on your schedule, then automated follow-up until they book, so the first bid on the table is always yours.

Who this is built for

Built for pavers who already own the iron.

Our best-fit paver

You run real crews and real equipment and want predictable, owned growth.

Contractor Fast Lane is built for established asphalt paving contractors doing roughly $500K to $10M and up per year that want the schedule booked in their own name, not a GC's. If you already run real crews and real paving equipment, we build the asphalt paving marketing engine that fills the season and takes you to the next level, and lock your market so a competitor cannot buy the same system.

Residential driveway pavingA steady flow of big-ticket blacktop driveways booked direct, not through a GC.

Commercial lots & millingParking lots, resurfacing, and milling contracts that anchor the schedule for weeks at a time.

Sealcoating & stripingThe repeat sealcoating and line striping that keep the same crews earning between paving jobs.

One paving contractor per marketWe work with a single paving contractor per service area. Yours locks when you start.

The long game

Your paving engine gets stronger every month it runs.

Most paving companies restart from zero every April. An owned engine does not. The rankings, the reviews, and the maintenance list you built last season are all still there when the plant reopens, so each season starts further along than the last one.

Launch Year 1 Year 3
The groundwork we lay here…
…is why it picks up steam here.
Illustrative shape, not a projection.

The crew with the leftover load is gone by August. The paving companies still picking their jobs a decade later built something that outlasts a season.

Early onWe build the engine and switch it on. You feel some of it right away. Most of it is foundation you will feel later.
As it maturesEvery month stacks on the last. Your rankings, reviews and repeat customers start feeding each other instead of resetting.
The long runGrowth that took real work to build is not easily taken away. Rented demand disappears the month you stop paying for it.
Daniel Segalo, founder of Contractor Fast Lane
A note from the founder

Why we built this.

“I kept watching the same thing happen: a paving company doing five-star work, running circles around the shop down the street, and still losing to them. Not because the other guy was better. Because he had a system bringing him customers, and they didn't.

So we built the system. Then we packaged the whole thing, done for you, for local service businesses ready to scale. We keep your calendar full, you run the jobs, and it is all in your name, right down to the website becoming yours at month 6.

No contracts, no lock-ins. We earn it every month. And we only take one company per market, so if yours is still open, I'd love to meet you.”

The machine you own

Your paving engine, running live.

A sample view of the system you would be running: appointments, pipeline, and the market you have locked, all in one place with nothing held hostage.

  • Booked jobs land straight in your pipeline, not a shared marketplace.
  • Every lead is exclusive to you and never resold to a competitor.
  • The system compounds every month instead of resetting when you stop paying.
  • Nothing held hostage: the website is fully yours at month 6, an asset on your books.

Asphalt paving marketing FAQs

What paving owners ask us first.

How much do asphalt paving leads cost?
There is no credible published number for paving. The largest home services search benchmark study covers 16 categories and paving is not one of them, so anyone quoting an exact paving cost per lead is guessing. What you can see is the marketplace, where one driveway lead is sold per contact to several pavers at once. Run the business on cost per booked job.
How much should a paving company spend on marketing?
The percentage matters less than the calendar. Established contractors generally sit in the 5 to 10 percent of revenue band, higher in a deliberate growth year. Paving has a second variable: when. Money committed in June buys attention at peak against every other paver. Money committed in the off-months buys a presence that is already standing when the plant fires back up.
How do I get more asphalt paving jobs without buying shared leads?
Own the moment a property owner looks at an alligatored driveway and reaches for the phone. That means ranking for driveway paving, parking lot paving, and sealcoating across your service area, a review wall behind your Google profile, a site full of your own finished work, and a callback that beats the other two bids to the phone. The engine is tuned to asphalt. Pouring flatwork too? That is our concrete marketing page →
When should we start so the schedule is loaded when the plant reopens?
The off-season, if you have the choice. Local Services Ads and paving PPC can produce calls within weeks of going live. Rankings, reviews, and content build over months, so a paver who starts in November walks into April with a very different presence than one who starts in April. Mid-season starts still work. You are just catching up in the weeks you can least afford it.
How do we win commercial parking lot, HOA, and private road work?
Different buyer, different calendar. A property manager is not searching on a whim in spring. They write a capital budget months ahead and want a paver who can document scope, phasing, and ADA striping. We build the commercial side of your site as its own lane, target the searches those decision makers use, and route inquiries into follow-up built for a bid cycle measured in weeks.
Can this keep the crews earning on sealcoating and striping?
That is one of the best things about asphalt. A driveway wants sealcoat every two to three years, a busy lot every one to two, so every job you finish is a maintenance customer with a date attached. The CRM holds that list and works it, and sealcoating, crack filling, and striping run as their own campaigns, so weeks too cold for hot mix are not dead weeks.
How do we keep from getting lumped in with the traveling driveway crews?
By being impossible to confuse with them. Attorneys general and the BBB warn homeowners every spring about crews knocking with leftover asphalt from a job down the road, and every honest paver pays for it. The answer is a presence they cannot fake: a long review history, the Google Verified badge, a real address, and a gallery of mats you laid.
Who owns the website and the leads, and do you take other pavers here?
You do. Your customer list, reviews, content, and ad accounts are in your name from day one, and the website itself becomes fully yours at month 6. Nothing is parked in an agency account you cannot log into. We take one paving contractor per service area, so your engine is never chasing the same driveways as another client.
